It must not go ahead. The daily traffic alone would cause disruption, noise polloution and damage to the road ways. we do not want HGVs travelling through the main monton village on route to the motorway. I can't beleive that sky propeperties were initally propoing ecc homes and the council rejected the planning for these. This would have been a more suitble option for the area and environment. As for the fumes the plant will omit nitrogen is smelly. The pople living on Green lane their houses will reduce in value who would want to live next door to a waste management plant its the equivalent of living next to the tip. What about the health of the villagers ?? there is enough waste land in rough areas to buils a plant like this. This development will ruin the village its community its buisnessnes it will increase the traffic. NO NO NO NO it has to be stopped. Please make it stop. I hope the local councillors will be fighting on behalf of the local residents to ensure this and the incincerator schemes are scrapped. Power to the people. Having something like this in such an enclosed area and also so close to the M602 could be a disaster locally.. These incinerators don't just do common waste but can also be used for Chemical wastes too.. so Toxic fumes could also be a huge health problem. One area that needs to be addressed is to the type[s] of waste to be incinerated..! And Guarantees for the future operations of such a site.
